Spiritual Egypt Journey 2023

Colibri Circle Egypt March 27th – April 9th 2023

It’s always a pleasure for the Colibri Circle to visit Egypt. This time we went with a group of women from Germany and the Netherlands.

Let the magic begin! The path of Goddess Isis

Old Egypt with its mystery schools, mystical wisdom, places for initiation, temples and a special vibration so high, a higher civilisation could settle here during the golden age. What they have accomplished then and there is still a mystery for us.

It’s river the Nile with it’s own healing power. Temples built in sacred geometry to further reveal the power that flows from mother earth to the cosmos or visa versa, paves the way to make us aware of our full potential. A spiritual trip, as we call it, a journey within. When Egypt calls, you have to listen. No wonder it is very popular nowadays. Egypt is an adventure on many levels.

With each group we investigate what the group needs. This makes every trip different. We followed the path of Goddess Isis. Goddess Isis knew as no other her positive- and her negative side. It was her wish that Every being should live their higher potential.

What does this mean? Are you allowed to be a powerful human being? What does powerful mean? Are you allowed to be who you truly are? One of the many tasks: we study our inner feminine, inner masculine and our inner child for insights. That’s why we call this trip a journey within. Every temple that we visit, has a different energy field and what does this communicate to You?
The start in Gizeh

Our journey started in Gizeh, the Pyramids. We were very enthusiast to enter the big Pyramid. What can one perceive inside and outside this big miracle? It was unreal to see this immense building and climbing the stairs where only farao’s and high priests must have been. After this we visited hidden parts nearby the Pyramids. We call it playing with energies. The ladies were amazed to feel and experience all of this.

After a small stroll we entered the Sfinx. What does it mean? More answers to the questions. We were ready for a break and had a nice Egyptian vegetarian lunch in Gizeh.

Aswan, back to the roots
The next day we flew to Aswan where we stayed at a typical Nubian hotel. You could definitely see and feel the difference between Gizeh and Aswan. Aswan is more laidback, dusty. It feels as if the time has stopped. The Nubians are the original inhabitants of Egypt. You can see them riding camels, very surreal. In Aswan we visited a more secluded temple. It was a relieve to be here. What does Goddess Isis and Horus have to do with this temple?

After we went to the temple of Philae, the temple of Goddess Isis. Because of the construction of the Nasr dam they moved the temple to a nearby island. By surprise we were invited to the island where the original temple used to be. A big surprise because the locals were not open to invite everybody on their island. Goddess Isis was welcoming us with even more surprises. It was magical.

In Aswan we had a small party with a local merchant who made us sing and dance. This shows how surprising Egypt can be, as this was not planned. The energy here awakened our spontaneity.

Roadtripping through Egypt
From Aswan we took off on the road t Luxor. The temples of Horus (the son of Goddess Isis) and Komombo accompanied us. As our group wanted to go deep within. The search for the inner God / Goddess started. We all could see how the group evolved, curious what to find at the next temples. You could definitely feel the magic. I am still amazed to see how much knowledge they had about mother earth. Every column or gate has a meaning.

In Luxor there was a small break to visit the market and the shops to fill our touristic needs. The Zouk in Luxor is an oasis of colours and smells. The local merchants are sure to lived up to their reputation to ¨haress¨ the passing tourist. Some in a more charming way than others.

Next on our program were Abydos and Dendera. Because of Ramadan the last temple of Dendera closed much earlier than expected. We went close by in a meadow to feel the strong energy of this temple that used to be a hospital. It was an exciting adventurous day.

Meet, greet and eat with Luxor´s Locals
A local friend invited us for dinner at his home in the suburbs of Luxor. We were the guests of his mothers, an invitation we happily accepted. It was interesting to see how they live, much of our curiosity about the local living-style was satisfied. The family spoiled us with too much food. During Ramadan the islamic Egyptians are allowed to eat between sunset and sunrise.
Karnak and kaleidoscope of temples
The next day was the closing day. Last but not least Karnak. Karnak is also called the temple of the world. It is a huge site; one day is not enough to visit this open air museum!
We closed the trip in a opulent garden, with old trees and exotic flowers and birds.

Then it was time to say goodbye to Luxor and go back to Cairo.

Back in Cairo we visited the Egyptian museum, which was in part presentation of what the archeologists had collected from the places we visited during our journey. Impressive, with mixed feelings.

What we love to do
In the past centuries many cultural and religious building were constructed on sacred sites, with a specific energy field. During our visits at such sites we create simple tasks for our participants to connect with it’s energy. Every field is an opportunity to receive answers to life questions. We are there to help and guide our participant trough this process. It requires a curious nature when you wander around in these energy walhala in such sacred sites.
